The Duomo Trio SafeStart (KS22) securely isolates and safely re-establishes the gas supply to any area which relies on manual isolation of gas outlets. Used in hotels, fast-food restaurants, schools, colleges and canteens throughout Europe, the Trio SafeStart protects personnel and property from damage caused by gas leaks. If the supply is reinstated with gas taps open, an undetected gas leak will occur. The Trio SafeStart prevents this by checking the integrity of the downstream pipe work before allowing the main gas valve to be opened. It also checks that the mechanical ventilation system is turned on before allowing gas to flow to kitchen appliances making it BS6173:2001 compliant. This unique keypad operated control panel ensures that only authorized personnel are able to initiate the gas supply as only they will know the access code.

The KS10 Controller is used to re-instate the electrical supply to a gas valve in a commercial kitchen once the ventilation, both supply and extract, has been proven. The KS10 does not check the closure of down stream gas valves. For this application see the KS22 and G621 Gas Safestart. The KS10 provides an electrical output to a gas valve which will break if either the ventilation stops or the remote emergency stops are pressed. The keyswitch operation provides security against unauthorized operation.

The KS21 control panel ensures that only authorized, competent personnel are able to initiate the gas supply, thus preventing vandalism and misuse of gas equipment. If the supply gas pressure drop below a preset threshold the system will automatically operate the low pressure cutoff.
