The CO Detector is a portable digital meter with adjustable carbon monoxide alarm level. With simple two-button operation, the meter is easy to operate and ready to use within 15 seconds of the device being turned on. The alarm level can be set at 8 different values ranging from 25 to 200ppm and emits an audible alarm when the threshold is exceeded. The alarm also changes in frequency according to the level of carbon monoxide detected, giving it a ″geiger counter″ effect. The digital display shows you the maximum CO reading since power-on and the current ambient temperature (in either centigrade or fahrenheit). It can also be backlit to aid visibility in dark environments. With low battery indicator and auto power off function, this affordable handheld unit also comes with a wrist strap, soft carry case and batteries.
